Dr. Bernardo received her Doctor of Medicine and her residency from University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She also did her residency at Prince George’s Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland, University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Richland Memorial Hospital and the Van Dorn Veterans Administration Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. She completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Currently, she practices and is a partner at Southwest Nephrology Associates. She has served and continues to participate as principal investigator in various kidney-related clinical trials.
